Welcome to GEARS, the State of Vermont's Grant Electronic Application and Reporting System!
To access this system, users must be authorized. All users and organizations needing access to/or to apply for a grant, environmental review or incentive will need to work with the prospective program staff to gain access.
All Authorizing Official (AO) and Municipal Authorizing Official (MAO) accounts will be validated by program staff.
To create an account in the system:
- Click on “New User? Register Here!” link in the Login panel to the right and fill out the new user registration form. Make sure to select the Agency or Organization you are working with from the “Granting or Contracting Agency” dropdown menu. Press the “Register” button when complete.
- After registering you will receive notification that the registration request has been received and then another notification once the account has been approved by the AO/MAO or the State of Vermont.
- Upon registration approval, you will be able log into the system to see/manage grant documents. New AO/MAO users will also be able to modify organization information and create additional organization member accounts for other designated users without the need for State of Vermont approval.
